Things are busy lately. Besides lots (and lots) of great opportunities to play music, trivia has popped up everywhere. I always say “I think there’s maybe one 7-11 store in Watsonville that DOESN’T have a trivia night!”

 

These days, I’m hosting two: Wednesdays at Cruz Kitchen & Taps in Santa Cruz and Thursdays at El Vaquero Winery in Corralitos. (I’m soon approaching my second straight year hosting at El Vaquero.) Details and times on both nights are posted here on the website on my Shows page.

Wallace Baine of Lookout Santa Cruz recently interviewed me to get my take on the phenomenon and wrote a super cool piece on both of these trivia nights that I’m hosting, along with a roundup of other trivia nights and a deep dive, looking into the phenomenon – as only Wallace can.
