Me and my New Best Friends just LOVE Halloween. And it’s always a fun challenge relearning a bunch of songs we’ll just play for a couple of shows. This year, as always, we redubbed ourselves Michael Gaither& His SCARY New Best Friends, added a (“Purple People Eater,” “Cruela de Ville”) and mixed in our regular favorites along with some of my originals and covers we always love to play for parties.

And we ended up with THREE Halloween shows: Our regular run at Crystal Bay Farm, a fundraiser at the new Scotts Valley Theater Guild, and our third-annual BIG party at El Vaquero Winery.

Many thanks to the venues who book us for the special shows, and of course all our great peeps who really went all out with costumes this year!
