I’m still coming off the (natural, more or less) high of last weekend’s Strawberry Music Festival. I’ve been going for more years than I can count – honestly it’s like 11 or 12 or so – and I can’t imagine how to better spend four days: hanging out with friends, making new friends, watching music, and playing music. The festival is held twice a year in Camp Mather, near Yosemite, and in addition to the gorgeous surroundings, you get an added bonus: Four days with no TV, cell phones, or pagers. (There *is* the occasional car alarm misfire, but life is never perfect.)

This year my pal Rob went for the first time and took his obnoxiously huge RV along for the ride. Rob’s the first to admit that his home on wheels is kinda ridiculous. He wanted a camp name and he has a sense of humor, so he leveraged my song Good God Man How Big a Car Do You Need, had a banner printed, and displayed it prominently on the front of his ride:

Can’t ask for more flattery than that.
