Sometimes, though, there&#8217;s just an extra layer of &#8220;WOW HOW COOL IS THIS?&#8221; that makes them so much extra special. Case in point: A few years ago, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.michaelgaither.com\/home\/the-davenport-proposal-best-gig-ever\/\">I was hired to play for a marriage proposal<\/a> up in Davenport. Last week, another one came my way.<\/p>\n<p>Even better, this was on Valentine&#8217;s Day. &#8220;Mike&#8221; (cool name and easy to remember) found my on my Gigsalad profile (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gigsalad.com\/michael_gaither_-_singing_guitarist_santa_cruz\">take a look&#8230;I&#8217;m for hire<\/a>) and saw that I worked up a proposal event in the past. What are you doing out here?&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Meadow. We&#8217;re just taking photos of me, my guitar, and our German Shepherd. Hey, wanna hear a song I&#8217;ve been working on?&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">So cool. I felt like we were spies speaking in code.
