You have something to say. You promote yourself online. How do you choose between the obvious: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Michael-Gaither-Music-Page\/22952963272\" target=\"_blank\">FaceBook<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bevbarnett\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reverbnation.com\/dayankai\" target=\"_blank\">Reverbnation<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCxDpVDU0oqcw9BHzg50-R5g\" target=\"_blank\">YouTube<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; and\u00a0the not-so-obvious: <a href=\"http:\/\/bevbarnettgregnewlon.bandcamp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bandcamp<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/michael-gaither-1\" target=\"_blank\">Soundcloud<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/bevbarnett\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pinterest<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/plus.google.com\/115980599132613761488\/posts\" target=\"_blank\">Google+<\/a>? (Seriously. Google+?) In this new podcast, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bevbarnett.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bev Barnett<\/a> describes\u00a0how to best use these social networking tools in a way that allows them to support what should be your primary online presence. (Ahem, that would be your web site).<\/p>\n<p>Bev is a triple-plus threat on all things music. She&#8217;s a fine singer and songwriter &#8211; she performs <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bevandgreg.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">as a duo<\/a> with her husband <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gregnewlon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Greg Newlon<\/a>. She has a long history of supporting other artists (through the TrueWind Concerts series and the new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.woodshed.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Woodshed.org<\/a> music organization). And she&#8217;s done promotional work for other artists. Through her new web site at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bevbarnett.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">heybev.com<\/a>, she&#8217;s now available to help other songwriters learn how to best navigate online waters of social networking, web sites, and email marketing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.michaelgaither.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/BevBarnett_PA200.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-5494\" src=\"http:\/\/www.michaelgaither.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/BevBarnett_PA200-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"BevBarnett_PA200\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>With her years in high-tech and corporate PR, advising artists on how to best represent themselves in the online world was a natural progress.
