This chat actually takes place last fall at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.americanrivermusic.org\/festival.php\" target=\"_blank\">American River Music Festival<\/a> in Lotus, CA. Greg and I were running on fumes after a fun night at the Friday Songwriter Showcase (he was one of the performers &#8211; I was the host), a late-evening camp jam, and a full day of watching the music on the main stage.<!--more--> <\/p>\n<p>Greg&#8217;s a storyteller as much as a songwriter, as you&#8217;ll immediately find out after you click the Play link above. We met several years ago at the Wooden Nickel Open Mic (he was playing &#8211; I was hosting&#8230;do you see a pattern here?) We&#8217;ve since had a great time watching each other&#8217;s music paths grow and more than occasionally coincide.
