I bought records there in the ’70s. I hung out there in the ’80s (again, buying records) while waiting for a show to start a block over at The Catalyst. Then, in the 90s, I sadly passed the place by after it became a cigar store.<\/p>\n
Earlier this year, sax player Wes Anthony retooled the old Cymballine Records building at 435 Front Street into the E3 Playhouse<\/a>. Being a musician, the first thing he did was to install a great stage and sound system. He then came up with “E3”, which is shorthand for Entertainment<\/a>, Education<\/a>, and Eatery<\/a>. Basically, there’s something worthwhile there going on all the time.<\/p>\n This Saturday (11\/25), we’re playing the early slot from 6:00-8:00 pm. If you’re in town, take a break from shopping at the mall. This will be a lot more fun.
