to fast and they don&#8217;t even look<br \/>\nWhile the rest of us wonder if we&#8217;ll make it back home alive<\/p>\n<p>Gravel truck spittin&#8217; rock<br \/>\nThe guy behind him cuts me off<br \/>\nEvery day on highway 17<br \/>\nThere&#8217;s some guy changing a flat<br \/>\nEverybody slow down &#8211; take a look at that<br \/>\nSo much to see on highway 17<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a perfect picture of the human race<br \/>\nThere&#8217;s a chick on the phone<br \/>\nSome guy shaving his face<br \/>\nOnce I saw a driver in the fast lane watching TV<br \/>\nWe&#8217;re just going to work<br \/>\nIt shouldn&#8217;t be that hard<br \/>\nYou just keep up with traffic<br \/>\nLook out for cars<br \/>\nEverybody play nice<br \/>\nLike when we were three<\/p>\n<p>Porsche passes me at 85<br \/>\nCop gives his partner a big high five<br \/>\nPickin\u2019 \u2018em off on highway 17<br \/>\nHorns are honking, cars are rude<br \/>\nLots of pent-up attitude<br \/>\nThen one day, it all occurred to me<\/p>\n<p>See it took me years to realize<br \/>\nSome people just ain&#8217;t satisfied<br \/>\nUnless they\u2019re doing all they can to get ahead<br \/>\nSo you can drive like an idiot, I don\u2019t care<br \/>\nThey\u2019ll still have work whenever I get there<br \/>\nHurry on by &#8211;
