| A live take on "High and Lonesome", a tale of unrequitted love at a music festival. Performed here with the band and a big fun audience singalong at Don Quixote's Music Hall (Felto,n CA).
The studio version of "Highway 17" is on my CD "Spotted Mule and Other Tales", available at cdbaby.com. |

| An ongoing collaboration with storyteller Erica Lann-Clark, which we've dubbed "An Evening of Stories and Story Songs". In this segment, Erica tells the story "The African Birth Song", which we and the band interweave with my song "I Hope the World".

| 'Unsuperpokeable (The FaceBook Song)", pokes fun at the whole social networking scene. This is a solo version, recorded at The Acoustic Barn (Newcastle, CA).
Note: I'm sort of a hypocrite, and it's VERY easy to find me on FaceBook, Myspace, and Twitter. |

"Spotted Mule", the title track from the first CD, here featuring Icing the spotted mule herself. Includes a completely obvious nod to Bob Dylan, for no particular reason.

"Unconditionally", a song I wrote and recorded (with my pal Breanna Eddy on harmony vocal) for Animal Friends Rescue Project.

"Highway 17 In Three Minutes" (homemade video). You know you've made it in the music business when folks start borrowing your songs for their own videos. Richard of Santa Cruz strapped a camera on a Highway 17 bus, added my song, and condensed everone's favorite commute into an easy three minute ride.
This video uses the CD version of "Highway 17", available on Spotted Mule and Other Tales" at cdbaby.com. |

On a similar note, WLSO and Longtown Sound podcaster and DJ Uncle Shag borrowed the title track from "Dogspeed" for a tribute to his dog Bubba.

My song "Not Stubborn Not My Mule" insists that "stubborn as a mule" is a myth, which it is...unless you try to make one take her mark on camera.
The studio version of "Not Stubborn..." is on my CD "Spotted Mule and Other Tales", available at cdbaby.com. |
