Past Shows (and a few live samples)

Here are a few highlights from some past shows.

Canyon Acoustic Society House Concert (8/08)

Our second appearance at my favorite local series. Here's a little band bantering along with live versions of Not Stubborn Not My Mule and Tupelo Honey.

KSCO's "Good Morning Monterey Bay" (5/08)

Another appearance and visit with Rosemary Charmers. This conversation led to discussion of the animal motif (dogs, mules) that seems to worm its way into much of my music. Click here to hear the interview (and live takes on "Spotted Mule" and "Where'd the Time Go"?
KVMR's "Rockin' and Stompin' " (2/08)

This episode of my "Songs and Stories" podcast features an in-studio performance and a fun chat with KVMR's Wesley Robertson. The show includes live performances of "Spotted Mule", "Where'd the Time Go", "Jack of All Trades", "Broke", and (by request) "Highway 17" played on a ukelele.
Don Quixote's Music Hall (11/07)

Here's a live cut of "Good God Man How Big a Car Do You Need" from our set.

This concert was a benefit for the Felton Library Friends. (Click here for a "Songs and Stories" podcast about this show and all the other local benefits we played in the Fall of 2007.)

San Gregorio General Store (3/07)

Here's a shot and a clip from the morning set - up early enough to drive the coast. set up, *and* play the 11:00 am slot at the store. Always a fun time, and the place is a wonderful mix of locals, bikers, cyclists, and wayward tourists.

Click on the photo to hear a live cut of "Entertaining an Angel".

Check out my music page to hear the studio version of "Entertaining an Angel".

KPIG radio's "Please Stand By" (2/07)

KPIG's live Sunday morning music show is a local institution (heard 'round the world on the world wide web). It's way fun trying to sing and play at 10:00 am.

Click on the YouTube link on your right to see us playing "Still Walkin' " live on the air.

KUSP radio's "The Open Road" (11/06)

Here's the complete audio from the first time I played KUSP radio's "The Open Road" with host Matt Pierce. This show airs at the much more musician-friendly time of noon.
