This blog is REALLY supposed to be about music, podcasts, and the occasional plug to where I’m playing. Still, tossing out pics of whatever AFRP dogs we’re fostering seems to be getting them adopted quicker, so why not?

As a rule, I don’t like small dogs. As soon as the yapping starts, the “ah, ain’t it cute?” factor ratchets down to zero, and I can’t wait to (phew) find the pup it’s forever home. I also keep threatening to post a 2-foot sign next to our front door that says “you must be THIS tall” to be my dog. This one, however, has totally grown on me.”Freaking adorable” is an understatment:

“Tink” was a stray in King City. She’s a year and a half old, full-grown, and weighs maybe four pounds soaking wet. Totally housebroken, gets along great with our pack, and she’s content to just sit and sleep in your lap. She’s also a total ball of fluff. I’d say she’d make a great badminton birdie, but that image would tarnish the whole “dog lover, animal volunteer” facade that I have going here. I do hope someone takes her quickly. We really don’t need another “foster failure” (i.e., another dog we keep).
