I’ve hit on this topic over and over again, but I think one of the greatest things about doing music is the folks you cross paths with along the way. I met Lila Nelson a few years back through mutual friends in Humbolt County (and KHUM radio). These days, she’s based in Oakland and has been touring in support of her latest release, “Letter Home, which was produced by Kenny Edwards.

In this chat, Lila talks about the approach she and Edwards took with the new record, her frequent return trips to Humbolt, and why she’s hooked on Twitter.
