Yesterday we played on KPIG radio’s Sunday morning show “Please Stand By” to promote this Saturday’s “Starlite Drive-In Saturday Night” CD-release party at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds. It’s always a fun time and always a blast checking in with host John Sandige.

If you missed it – or were out of earshot of 107.5 FM in the Monterey Bay – here’s another chance to listen.

Aaron Bagchee and I played the title track and the ballad Good Souls. KPIG has both of these songs in rotation. Seemed appropriate to play them on-air. There was some fun banter, too, especially when John asked listeners to write in and suggest what THEY would always bring to a drive-in movie. You’ll have to listen to the podcast to hear what one caller suggested. (Let’s just call it safe to say you probably won’t need these at our show.)

This Saturday’s show is the big release party I was hoping to have here in south county for the record, and it’s going to be a lot of fun. It’s also a benefit for the Agricultural History Project. Hope you can join us. Complete details are on my Shows page.
