I wanted to put in a word of record in here to once again thank everyone who came out to my CD-release party at Roudon Smith Winery last weekend. We had a great turnout, lots of fun, a little wine (okay, maybe more than a little), and a very happy official launch for this little project called Spotted Mule and Other Tales.

It was a pleasure playing alongside John Eddy and Russ Van Scoy (on Saturday) and Aaron Baghchee and Russ on Sunday. We kept the music going all day with songwriters John Cirillo, Greg Kitchel, and Christian Raphael, and our pal Rob Hasting provided a few cover tunes.

Despite how much fun writing and playing music is, the most rewarding thing about it is the countless quality folk I’ve connected with soley out of similar these similar interests.

The only thing better than sharing an afternoon with good friends is making more of them, so we’ll be doing this same thing (with the same players) up at Roudon Smith on the last weekend of October. Join us there, and if you me want to you send a friendly nagging reminder, sign up for my mailing list.
